In Piper Malibus and Mirages, after about 2500 flight hours, cracks can develop in wing ribs and cause fuel to leak through the rivets in the underside of the wing. Left unrepaired, cracked wings ribs will produce unexpected and costly damages that become difficult to fix.  Piper has addressed this issue in SL1132, but does not give guidance or approval for a repair if a crack is discovered.  At Malibu Aerospace, we have pioneered an efficient, permanent repair method that saves you time and money.
