Malibu & Mirage M-1 Cooling Modification

M1 Cooling KitThe Malibu M-1 cooling mod consists of a modified lower cowl and additional cylinder cooling baffles, which decrease cylinder head temperatures (CHT’s) as much as 40 degrees.  This simple modification decreases CHT’s and engine and accessory temperatures, without increasing drag or noise, while maintaining the factory aircraft appearance and landing gear doors. 

Climb on hot days without high CHT or oil temperatures.  During FAA certification testing, we passed the climb cooling test with more than a 40 degree margin to FL250.   For only $1,100, this is the best bargain in aviation today.

Available for Continental TSIO-520 and TSIO-550 powered Malibu's, as well as the Lycoming powered Mirage.
